Please consider Out in Jersey Magazine for your business advertising. We
distribute more than 12,000 magazines each issue throughout New Jersey, New York
City, Philadelphia and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We are the largest bimonthly
New Jersey-based and distributed gay publication. Our ad rates are very
competitive - a six-issue contract can reach more than 144,000 readers and cost
your business just $300 for an 1/8 page size ad!

Ad copy must be received by mail or e-mail 30 days before issue date to be
guaranteed placement.

Special placement of your ad is available at extra cost. Inside front
cover, inside back cover, outside back cover, other placements opposite related
editorial content available.
There is no charge for ad set-up. Additional graphic work is extra. You may also
design your own ad. It must be mailed on a floppy, CD-R disc or e-mailed in a .tif
or .jpg format for PC (.tif prefered.) Please call first before mailing ad
information.
Advertisers and agencies are liable for all contents, including text and all
illustrations.
Payment terms are in advance, unless credit has been established. The 3-time and
6-time rates are for consecutive insertions only.

Out in Jersey, Inc. reserves the right to revise, reject, or omit without
prior notice any ads that we for any reason deem objectionable.
If an ad is not run we will refund the cost of that ad space. Any ads with
errors must be reported within one week of first insertion publication date for
credit. Credit will be issued for an upcoming issue only. There are no proofs
unless the ad is received 60 days before publication date.

ADVERTISING SPECIFICATIONS:
All ads should be sent WITHOUT borders if they are not full-page ads. The
actual size MUST fit within above space limitations. We will place a border
around your ad. If you want a thick border please request this in your ad form
or in an e-mail with the ad attachment.
ELECTRONIC Preferences:
We prefer ads delivered by electronic means. Ads should be set up to exact
size specifications in your graphics program. After the ad is designed, your
graphics program should allow the file to be sent as an attachment to e-mail.
The following formats are accepted: .gif and jpg. Please have your ad converted
to PC version if you are using a MAC before attaching to an e-mail to avoid
problems with compatibility at our end.
MAIL Preferences:
Ads sent by snail mail for visual scanning MUST be on bright white paper and
should not have type that is smaller than 12 pt.
Out in Jersey does not accept business cards as ads.
Out in Jersey is not responsible for poor ad quality if the ad is sent by mail
on low quality paper and/or includes type under 12 points. If not sure about
your ad - or if you need assistance - please do not hesitate to call before
mailing your ad.
AD DEADLINES ARE FOR REAL!
If you have any special requests or questions it is advisable to call ahead
of the deadline to be sure of inclusion in the next issue.
